Summary
I was brought on by a well known music producer to develop a brand for and help launch an insanely talented new artist. In a short amount of time we had a killer brand, studio and lifestyle photography, an official music video, social skins and promo content. The full package needed to properly launch this future star.

After spending some time getting to know the artist I was able to establish a visual brand and design system that was authentic and accessible.

This was a rare opportunity to develop an artist's brand from the ground up. The key is empathy; truly understanding the artist's vision and translating that into design, messaging, and strategy that resonates with the artists's target audience.

Content is absolutely essential, especially for establishing an artist and cutting through the chaos of social media in an attempt to connect with fans. We chose to focus on black and white content and color palette with occasional accents to not only establish a look, but also play into the artist's natural intensity, focus, and artistic nature..
Fan Acquisition
Building a fan base from the ground up takes strategy, persistence, and a keen ability to asses, analyze and act on data in real time, without compromising the authenticity of the brand. Being able to not only find and engage fans, but create synergistic strategic partnerships with other artists, brands, and organisations that accelerate and compound artist growth at this early stage.
